I have watched a number of videos taken during the January 6, 2021, “insurrection” in Washington. I am not blind, and I watched the videos carefully. I saw some rioters (a relatively small number compared to the size of the crowd) obviously breaking the law, doing damage, and fighting with capitol police. I saw many others walking peacefully through the capitol building as the police looked on with no attempt to interfere I also saw at least two provocateurs who were obviously trying to stir up the crowd to break into the capitol. One of these was a man named Epps.
Hundreds of persons have been arrested in connection with the January 6 event. Epps and his fellow provocateur have not.
Perhaps there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for all of this, but thus far it has not been provided. Liberal pundits say that Trump supporters are using the Epps affair simply to cast doubts on the all-important work of Federal investigators and a special House committee.
What is going on? I truly do not know. I do know, however, that some of those persons who entered the capitol building on January 6 received ridiculously long sentences or stand charged with very serious offenses. In the meantime, Epps remains free and uncharged
It is a very uncomfortable feeling not to trust the DOJ and the FBI, but I’m sad to say that I don’t. Also, I have absolutely no faith in the irregularly created and obviously biased House committee established by Pelosi to investigate the happenings of January 6.
We desperately need spokesmen and answers in which we can have confidence.
