This past Saturday, October 16th, my dear friend and pastor Bishop Daniel Cox went home to be with the Lord. I will miss him very, very much, but he had been suffering ill health for some months and wanted to shed his earthly body. He is now in a far, far better place.
Daniel Cox was a wonderful man. He had a warm, loving, expansive personality and was a true joy to be around. I am blessed to have known him over the course of 43 years. He was a great teacher of holy scripture, very supportive in times of need, a comforter in times of sorrow, and a true friend always.
Au revoir, Dan.
I loved him as a brother. I have known few persons who were his equal and none who surpassed him in exuding the marks of a vibrant Christian faith.
