Anorexia is an eating disorder characterized by a distorted body image and an unwarranted fear of being overweight. Symptoms include trying to maintain a below-normal weight through starvation or too much exercise. Medical treatment may be needed to restore normal weight. Talk therapy can help with self-esteem and behavior changes.
Being transgender is characterized by a distorted view of one’s gender, causing a person to believe themselves to be or wish to be of a different gender than that determined at birth. This feeling may be strong enough to cause a person acute psychological distress, a condition known as gender dysphoria.
Eating disorders are surging among young Americans, and that surge is particularly evident among those experiencing gender dysphoria.
Unfortunately, both anorexia and transgenderism appear to be socially communicable disorders, and social media platforms have helped propagate them. Whereas anorexia continues to be treated as an undesirable and treatable condition, transgenders have organized themselves into a powerful social movement. Rather than seeking treatment, they seek to persuade society to accept transgenderism as an acceptable or even desirable way to express one’s sexuality. They have captured the progressive wing of the Democrat Party, promote so-called gender-affirming medical care for children, and push for control of sexual education programs in our public schools. In a short span of time they have been amazingly successful.
The world goes mad.
Sound the alarm! The enemies of civilization are charging our gates!

Sandy, very well stated. It appears the media is in control and spreads their beliefs as if transgender is sweeping America. It is a small percent, thank goodness. We need to keep this message in perspective!
