Last week I accompanied my son Eric and daughter-in-law Julie on a trip to Arizona and Nevada. There we visited sons Stuart, Sandy Jr and families. Unfortunately, my son Sandy Jr had a very unexpected gift for me. We bade him adieu on Monday evening and flew home to my Maryland home on Tuesday.. During the flight I developed a very bad chest cold, and the following day it was confirmed to be Covid. When we contacted Sandy Jr. in Nevada later that afternoon, he also tested positive for the disease.
I had other medical complications, so on Thursday I was admitted to Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, Maryland. After therapeutics, I was discharged Sunday afternoon; but I am still experiencing lingering aftereffects. Thank God I had received two shots and a booster, otherwise, at my age, I seriously doubt that I would have survived.
I am slowly getting better.
Praise be to the Lord!
Thank you for this update. I have been praying for you and wondering about your current condition. I am so glad you received treatment and have escaped the worst symptoms. Take care Sandy.

Hope by now you are feeling much improved. I am sure having had shots and boosters helped not having more serious problems. Thinking of you. Betty Oct., 4, 2022

Uncle Sandy, I am sorry you had to experience this. I’m thankful you are feeling better, but continue to be cautious and follow doctor instructions! You are loved by many and we want you feeling your best ( so you can continue and sing ‘Frankie and Johnny’ 🎶🎤🎵)
