Monday evening I returned from a two-week excursion to Europe. My son Harold, his wife Jeannine, granddaughter Audrey and I spent a few days in Holland and then boarded a Viking riverboat for a cruise up the Rhine. Along the way we had shore excursions in places such as Cologne, Koblenz, Heidelberg, Strausbourg, and Colmar. It was a great experience, and the Viking crew treated us like royalty. Ours was only the second cruise after the lifting of Covid restrictions, and they were delighted to have us aboard.
We left the riverboat in Basel, Switzerland, and spent the next two days exploring that beautiful country.
I will resume my posts in a day or so, but I still have some unpacking to do.
Have a wonderful day!
