Yesterday Joseph Biden became our President. I am not happy about that, but I must accept it as fact. I will pray for him, and I will pray that our nation will prosper under his leadership.
As I wrote before, my study of history has shown me that many ordinary men and women rise to the occasion when placed in a position of great responsibility. Perhaps this will be true of Joseph Biden. Confronted with the honor and great responsibility of his office, let us hope that our new President will discover hitherto hidden reservoirs of nobility and purpose. I see nothing in Biden’s past to give me confidence that this will happen, but perhaps he will surprise us in a positive way. Time will soon tell.
My greatest fear is of the Democrat Party itself. I believe it to be an anti-Christian, big-government threat to the republic. A party that can place people like Nancy Pelosi, Jerry Nadler, and Adam Schiff in positions of leadership is not to be trusted.
Farewell, Donald Trump. Thank you for your service to our country. It is my sincere wish that we will not miss you too much.
