Yesterday, December 20^th. I attended a Christmas musical concert at my church.  It was beautiful, and I loved every moment of it.  My thanks go out to those who put the concert together and to the performers. I am particularly grateful to Ira Poberezhnaya, our director of music. She is a true artist.

I also give thanks for J. S. Bach, George Handel, Felix Mendelssohn, and the other great composers who contributed the music, and to lyricists such as Charles Wesley and Isaac Watts who penned words for the songs that inspire us in this holy season.
