Update on the Culture War

Kamala Harris was a terrible candidate, and her nomination probably ensured her party’s defeat in the recent election. Nevertheless, I am one of many Americans who would have voted Republican regardless of whomever the Democrats might have nominated as their Presidential candidate. That is because of the Democrats’ positions on so many social issues that define the culture war. For example:

0 – The Democrats supported the LGBT activists in wishing to allow male transgenders to participate in girls and women’s sports.

0 – The Democrats supported teachers unions even when some union leaders attempted to impose radical social concepts on young students while restricting parental involvement.

0 – The Democrats opposed school choice, knowing that in many situations it is the only way for a parent to rescue his or her child from a failing school system.

0 – The Democrats supported racially divisive Woke philosopy and DEI initiatives.

0 – The Democrats supported radical movements such as BLM as they engaged in mayhem, attacked the police, tore down statues, and attempted to rewrite American history.

Many Democratic Party positions were anti-Christian and socially destructive, and they marked an unsupportable regress from the two-thousand year forward progress of western civilization.

I believe we are now back on the right track, and I thank God for it.

I pray that the formerly great Democratic Party will come to its senses, recapture a vision, and give Americans a choice between two good parties. For the moment, I can only vote for Republicans.
