A Chance

I’m praying for a Republican victory in November.  I’m convinced that a Kamala Harris presidency would be disastrous for America.  I also realize that the election of Donald Trump would be no guarantee of peace and prosperity.

The person elected will face a multitude of problems.  War is raging between Russia and the Ukraine, and Iran remains a constant threat to Israel and overall stability in the Middle East.  Meanwhile, China threatens Taiwan and our southeast Asian allies.  Chaos reigns on our southern border as millions of unvetted immigrants have been allowed to invade our country.  Our big cities are plagued with crime and corruption.  Internally, the nation faces the possibility of a true fiscal crisis as the national debt approaches the 40 trillion mark, and interest on that debt hampers our ability to provide for our defense, maintain infrastructure, and finance our massive entitlement programs.  On top of all this, many Americans have lost faith in God, government and each other.  Wokism and LGBT nonsense have become a diseases that eat away at our nation’s moral fiber.

Perhaps no one can manage these monstrous problems, but with Trump I believe we may have a chance.  With Harris, there would be not the slightest hope.

Last night I watched a taped conversation between Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Jordan Peterson.  Kennedy explained how he met with Trump and why he decided to join forces with him in this campaign.  He said he now realizes that much of the hatred and distrust of Trump is caused by the same pro-establishment media that has dishonestly vilified him over the years.  In his talks with Trump, Kennedy was impressed by the former President’s keen understanding of the issues so important him  —  public health concerns and the need to end the war in Ukraine; and Trump pledged to give these problems the attention they deserve.  Kennedy also expressed respect for the management team that Trump is assembling for his second Presidential administration.  It appears that Elon Musk, Tulsi Gabbard, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Kennedy himself will be involved, along with some proven leaders from his first Presidency.  Trump told Kennedy that his inexperience with the ways of Washington caused him errors in putting together his first administration, and this time he is prepared to hit the ground running.

Trump has the active support of an intelligent and powerful group of individuals, and I pray that they will have the opportunity to exercise their talents in a new government.  With God’s help, I believe they can put America on the path toward recovery.
