How great Thou art! 

“When I in awesome wonder consider all the universe Thy hands have made.”

Pick up a handful of sand at the ocean shore and try to count the individual grains of sand.  Then think of all the grains of sand on all the beaches of every ocean and sea on earth.  At that moment you might begin the have some conception of the number of stars in God’s heavens. In truth, the number is far greater than that.

How far can we see?  How high can you count?

As we reach further out into space we continue to find more and more stars.  Where does the universe end?  Does the universe end?  Can we comprehend something that goes on forever?  If the universe does have an end, can we comprehend the nothingness that lies beyond?

O God, how great Thou art!
