In 1941-45 I rose early in the morning to catch the bus to school in Wilmington, Early was necessary because during the war all vehicles were restricted to 35 miles per hour to conserve gas. The school buses always complied, so it took a full hour or more to make the trip.
Before the bus was scheduled to arrive I sometimes stepped out on the ocean strand to see the sunrise. Often they could be quite spectacular.

What a beautiful world the Lord made.
