Happy New Year, everyone.

2026 has begun with a bang. Under the direction of President Trump, American special forces struck deep into Venezuala and captured Nicolas Maduro and his wife. They are now in transit to NYC for trial on narco terror charges.

I once described Trump as a whirling dervish. This affords us another instance of his indefatigable energy and ceasless activity in pursuit of goals that I generally approve. He has his faults, but he makes his enemies appear small.

The world will be a much better place when people like Maduro are no longer in position of power.

I salute the brave men and women who executed this dangerous mission. Brilliant work!
