3i/ATLAS

After my last post I attempted to learn more about our strange interstellar visitor 3i/ATLAS. Most scientists tend to describe it as a extremely rare but natural object that exhibits the usual characteristics of a comet, although there are anomalies. Others, including Avi Loeb, theoretical physicist at Harvard University, have suggested the possibility of our visitor’s alien, non-natural origin. Michio Kaku also has questions.

Thus far, there has been no great interest on the part of the media. I have come to believe that some of the statements YouTube attributed to Kaku and others were AI generated. In science, as well as in politics, it’s often difficult to get to the truth.

Note: For myself, I have found YouTube and Wikipedia to be wonderful storehouses of information. But they are also loaded with falsehoods and disinformation. YouTube has many stories that are complete fabrications, often AI generated. They can be fun to read, but they are not properly labeled as fiction and can be misleading. As for Wikipedia, its liberal bias and selective reporting is apparent when you read coverage of recent political events. When using YouTube and Wikipedia, you would be well advised to get back to the original source.
