During the Biden administration his DOJ would often try to humiliate their political opponrnts. When one was to be arrested , they would often do it in the most demeaning manner. Even when the subject offered to turn himself in, FBI agents or federal marshals were evidently instructed to make a public spectacle of the arrest.
Such conduct was an affront to the American concept of justice. Most often these persons were accused of non-violent crimes. They were no threat to society. They had not been convicted, only accused. Why treat these people as dangerous or hardened criminals?
Now they Republicans are in charge. The Trump DOJ will be tempted to treat their opponents as the Biden DOJ did. Will they resist that urge and do the right thing?
The arrest of former FBI Chief Comey will be the first big test.
