Democrat Party leadership appears to be morally and intellectually bankrupt.  As a former Democrat, that makes me very sad.

They propped a senile man in office while describing him as an intellectual and moral giant.  When their deceit was finally exposed, they offered a substitute who was totally unqualified for high office. They vilify Trump and Musk when these men expose waste and fraud in the federal budget, but they offer no alternative plan for reducing expenditures and restoring our economic health. They accuse Trump and the Republican Party of seeking to destroy Social Security and Medicare while knowing the accusation to be a lie.  They cry racist! racist! at Trump and almost every other Republican candidate for political office. They attack traditional Christian values. They curse and wail and appear to have abandoned all coherent thought.

We must balance the Federal budget.  We must restore trade balances and end our dependence on critical products from China. We must work for improved health and education. We must control our borders.  We must promote world peace and maintain a strong defense.  In the present political environment, the Trump administration offers us a chance of achieving these goals.  Success will be difficult – almost impossible, but the Democrats offer us nothing but the prospect of fiscal and social collapse.

Please, Democrats, restore your party. Bring back some Blue Dogs and other moderates. Promote rationality and wisdom. The nation needs a healthy opposition that will offer American voters realistic and perhaps desirable alternatives..
