Kamala Harris recently announced her solution to the inflation problem.  She would establish price controls along with very strong laws against price gouging.

Those proposals are straight out of a Marxist play book.  They wouldn’t work.  They never do.  Argentina and Venezuela proved that.

In a capitalist society such as ours, prices are determined by supply and demand.  Competitive forces keep merchants from seeking and receiving unfair profits, and the profit margins on most product sales are quite low.  For instance, in the grocery business, it’s about 1.6%.  Where is the gouging?

Harris’s proposal would require another massive expansion of the federal bureaucracy to enforce compliance. That would lead to a police state.

Kamala is a red (Marxist) fox trying to get into the capitalist  henhouse.

That would be death to all us chickens.
