The situation regarding the Biden family appears to have arrived at an impasse.

The House of Representatives is controlled by the Republicans, though by a slim majority. Several House committees have launched examinations of the Biden family. and they have uncovered very strong evidence of malfeasance and bribery by Joseph Biden while he was Vice President . It is possible that the whole House will now open an impeachment inquiry, giving it power to issue subpoenas and pursue the investigation more vigorously, perhaps leading to the impeachment of President Biden.

The Democrats control the Senate. It is extremely unlikely that the Senate would convict an impeached Joseph Biden, no matter how strong the evidence.

Though the Department of Justice is supposed to be above partisanship, recent actions by the DOJ reveal it to be a tool of the Biden administration. DOJ lawyers and FBI agents have gone after Donald Trump with a vengeance while showing no interest in pursuing far more serious charges against members of the Biden family. Also, the DOJ refuses to cooperate with House committees exercising legitimate government oversight functions. In pursuit of answers, the House can issue subpoenas and convict DOJ official for contempt, but will the DOJ comply and arrest its own?

Itmay be that that the only way out of this impasse is an overwhelming Republican victory in the 2024 general election.

Unfortunately, such a victory is far from being assured. The mainstream media is united in its hatred of Trump, the leading Republican candidate for President; and its coverage of him is overwhelmingly negative. Network commentators seem to delight in every new charge hurled against him, no matter how questionable the legality. On the other hand, unfavorable information on the Bidens is suppressed, and President Biden continues to receive positive treatment by most media pundits even as more evidence of his corruption is revealed..

Can Trump and other Republican candidates fight through this flood of negativity and win the support of American voters. Perhaps the only way might happen would be for the House to produce such overwhelming evidence of Biden’s guilt that the media can no longer cover for him and his Democrat supporters are disgraced . At that point, the impasse may be broken and a measure of good government restored.
