I know that, in the main, politicians are a sorry lot. I believe it was Mark Twain who once said, “America has no distinctively native criminal class except Congress.” And it was either Twain or Will Rogers who quipped that “Once in a while an innocent man is elected to Congress.”

I am beginning to believe that the Democrats have failed to elect an innocent man to Congress in the past few decades. If so, they perverted him.

In 1974, during the Watergate scandal, leaders of the Republican Party collaborated to persuade President Nixon to resign. It had become obvious that Nixon had used the powers of his office in an attempt to cover up criminal activities by some of his supporters during the 1972 Presidential campaign.

Today, fifty-one years later, President Biden is obviously guilty of far more serious offenses. An ever-increasing body of evidence shows that he, as Vice-President, took bribes from foreign countries and allowed those bribes to influence American foreign policy. Furthermore, since taking the office of President, Biden has marshalled the powers of the Federal government in an attempt to destroy a political opponent and cover his own crimes.

The Republican Party proved that it had a few honest men in 1974.

Where are the honest Democrats today?

Please, I urge you Democrats, prove me wrong. Surely there are those among you who will stand up for the truth, and that truth has been plainly revealed. Joseph Biden is corrupt and is destroying our nation. Unfortunately, Vice-President Harris might be worse.

Let’s form a union party and elect a really good person to the Presidency. I nominate Mike Huckabee, an honest man with uncommon common sense. I suggest Tulsi Gabbard as his running mate.

P.S. Joe Lieberman was an honest man, but the Democrats pushed him out of Congress.
