Today Attorney General Garland announced the appointment of David Weiss to investigate Hunter Biden’s activities. Weiss is the same man who less than two weeks ago was ready to give Hunter Biden a plea deal that would have substituted misdemeanor charges against Hunter rather than charge him with severe and provable criminal offenses. Fortunately, the deal fell apart.

Now, with Garland’s move, it’s as if someone had deputized Jesse and Frank James to bring the Younger gang to court.

Republican members of Congress see it as a move to forestall their own efforts to expose Hunter and his father Joseph as the bribe-taking traitors they are.

Please, Mr. Weiss, do the honorable thing and prove your doubters wrong.
