Au Revoir

I have always been fond of the French term au revoir and sometimes substitute it for good-bye.  Au revoir literally means  “till I see you again.”  Five years ago, on April 17, 2015, I bade “au revoir” to my wife Ann.  As each day passes I come ever nearer to the moment I will see her again.

Au Revoir, My Love

  1. Another day closer! A great thought to be sure! Not only does it tell of the anticipation of seeing our loved ones, it is a word of encouragement for all of us who trust in Jesus! Eternity is one day closer. Praise the Lord! We will be in a place where we never have to say “goodbye.” Love you, Dad!
